StudentHQ is a free planner for college students. This page explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we use your information only to run your planner, we don't sell it, and we don't show ads.

What we collect

Account details. Your email address and a securely hashed password, or your basic Google profile (name, email) if you sign in with Google.
What you put in your planner. Courses, assignments, grades you enter, tasks, events, habits, goals, budget entries, job applications and notes.
Basic technical information that our hosting providers log automatically, such as IP address and browser type, used to keep the service running and secure.

If you use StudentHQ without an account, your planner is stored only in your own browser on your device. We don't receive it.

How we use it

To save your planner and show it to you on any device you sign in on.
To send emails you ask for, such as sign-in links and password resets.
To keep the service secure and fix problems.

We don't sell your information, use it for advertising, or share it with your school.

Who can see your planner

Only you. Your planner is stored under your account, and the database enforces that one account can't read another account's data. People who run StudentHQ can technically access the database to operate and fix it, and we only do so when needed.

Services we use

Supabase stores accounts and planner data. Data is stored in the United States (Virginia).
Cloudflare hosts the website.
Google, only if you choose "Continue with Google".
Google Fonts and jsDelivr deliver fonts and a code library to your browser, which means they see your IP address when the page loads.

Cookies and storage

We store a sign-in session in your browser so you stay signed in, and guest-mode planners in your browser's local storage. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Your choices

Delete your account any time in Settings → Your account → Delete my account. This permanently removes your account and planner.
Erase your planner data but keep your account: Settings → Erase everything.
Guest mode: clear your browser's site data to remove it.

Age

StudentHQ is meant for college students. Don't use it if you're under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll update the date above and tell signed-in users in the app.
